The Military Panther and Zephyrs were designed in conjunction with the Ministry of Defence (RAF) to provide Heavy Duty, long life, low maintenance service. All machines and spare parts have NATO Stock numbers for ease of ordering, stock control and availability.
The Military Panther is a purpose built unit for aircraft and helicopter servicing, operating with hoses of 16m or more in length, and capable of removing all waste and debris. The Military Zephyr is used where applications call for a smaller robust vacuum cleaner, using the same tools and hoses as the Miltary Panther.The Military Zephyr is ideal for use on board aircraft, in workshops, service bays, vehicle maintenance and general cleaning duties:
Clyde Materials Handling also supply the Ministry of Defence with Lifevest and Liferaft Inflator / deflators. Use to inflate, pressure test and then deflate for stowing, to prove integrity and worthiness of essential safety equipment. Both units utilise many of the components used on the Military Zephyr Vacuum Cleaner for reduction in spares inventory and improved availability
