Clyde Materials Handling, working closely with the company over the last 12 years, has used its expertise to provide materials handling solutions at each stage of tennis ball production and takes into account Penn Racquets' strict production criteria. These include, an improvement in productivity and cost savings, combined with minimum degradation to the product . The company also place great emphasis on environmental conditions with an important factor being to improve work station operating conditions for its workforce. Using their test house facility in Doncaster, Clyde Materials Handling were able to successfully conduct trials which exactly replicated the client's on site conditions and production needs.

Clyde has been involved in a variety of projects such as high efficiency exhausters, primary filter units, and dust control and increased throughput throughout the whole factory.
